This word mark was developed for the Lean concept of manufacturing, enterprise, and production that considers the expenditure of resources for any goal other than the creation of value for the end customer to be wasteful and thus a target for elimination. Essentially preserving value with less work. Lean manufacturing is a management philosophy derived mostly from the Toyota Production System.  I began this project with a standard Serif Font and systematically began to take away any features and flourishes that were not essential.  This led to a word mark that is clean and concise but still retains all the necessary components for communication and service to the user.
